We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Purchasing Coordinator to strengthen our team and contribute to our growth.
Your Role
As a Purchasing Coordinator, you are responsible for implementing the purchasing strategy, coordinating purchasing activities and managing vendor relationships, ensuring optimal inventory levels to support business operations and sales performance.
Reporting to: Purchasing Director
Key Responsibilities
- Implement purchasing strategies aligned with the company’s business plan.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure purchasing activities meet business and sales requirements.
- Plan, organize, and execute purchase orders to ensure optimal stock levels and sales operations.
- Monitor the progress of orders and ensure compliance with agreed quality standards, quantities, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate and oversee the receipt of goods, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Work closely with vendors to address operational issues effectively.
- Evaluate performance and service levels. Prepare recommendations and improvement plans to strengthen relationships and enhance service and product quality.
What You Bring
- At least 5 years proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles (industrial -hydraulic sector preferred)
- Experience in vendor sourcing, negotiation and contract management
- Results-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Customer-focused mindset
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering
- Master’s degree (MBA or in Supply Chain Management, Procurement) is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office & ERP systems
- Fluency in Greek & English
